I have tried a lot of keto pancakes. A lot. And most of them take a blender or some really extensive process that I don’t have to the time for. I usually have breakfast on my lunch hour so I only have so much time to make and eat.
I have been playing with pancake recipes for a while and one that I was doing was pretty easy but there were just too many ingredients to try and make it taste sweet. I finally found one that is super easy and quick to make and only takes 4 ingredients. I promise this is not sponsored by Quest although I wouldn’t mind. *wink wink nudge nudge*
Like I said, this recipe is super easy. It uses 2 types of protein powder, an egg, and some coconut/almond milk. It is higher on the protein side, but if you are really trying to lose a lot of fat, you don’t need to inhale grams and grams of fat. Also you will most likely be putting some butter on top to melt.
If you wanted to add some fat, you could try adding some heavy whipping cream as the liquid along with a bit of water. The carbs may adjust a little bit with the addition of heavy cream.
I have not tested this with other protein powders, but I would assume it would be the same concept. I find that Quest flavored powders are a bit too sweet so I cut them with the Quest unflavored protein powder.
