Keto Fat Bomb Hot Chocolate
Everybody loves hot chocolate, but on a keto way of life, regular hot chocolate is just not possible for me. The amount of sugar will give me a serious stomach ache the next day and not worth it for many. My daughter loves hot chocolate and I just look at her with severe jealously when she slurps down her own non-keto hot chocolate. I think she drinks it extra loud just to piss me off.
This is a great snack to have at night if you feel you are a bit short on your fats for the day and want a sweet treat. Granted, I follow the philosophy that fat macros are your maximum so I don’t worry too much about my fats. But if I am especially low for the day (under 60 grams), I will make one of these at night while I hang out on the couch before bed.
This is a very filling snack as well and I notice that after I have this I am not that hungry the next morning until I eat lunch around 11.
With all of the ingredients together, it is about:
26 grams of fat
2-3 grams of net carbs (cocoa powder and give or take a bit for the heavy whipping cream)
If you have a couple carbs left for the day, you can put some redi-whip on it as well to give it some extra richness.
