These Oatmeal Fudge bars have been made in our family for as long as I can remember. If you are from Minnesota, I can almost guarantee that your Mom or your Grandma has this More Cooking in Minnesota cookbook. As you can see in the picture that my mom’s book that she has bestowed to me has been shown quite a lot of love. My Grandma would make these every holiday and I looked so forward every time she brought them. I treated them as a holy grail, that you only got at the holidays and no other time. NOT ANYMORE! NOT TODAY SATAN!
This is also my first time blogging about a recipe and trying to take some “professional looking” photos. Please give me any feedback of anything I could work on.
IMPORTANT: If you are celiac like my mom is, all you have to do is replace the oats with Gluten Free Oats.
I will lay out the recipe nicer than the picture. It can be a bit confusing on some parts if you just follow the recipe from the book.
