UPDATE: They have made a price change so with this coupon it would be $29 for your first box, but I think you get another $15 off you sign up for the newsletter.
Living in Minnesota, we don’t usually get to be part of those fun home delivery fads that I have seen lately like green smoothie deliveries or already made meals. The joys of wanting to live in the country I guess. I pretty much watch Youtube daily and I had noticed a lot of Youtubers were being sent HelloFresh to “try” and most likely promote. I thought that home meal delivery seemed like a really lazy idea at first, but I found a good promotion so that I pretty much got my first box for like $10 for 3 meals. I thought why the hell not and gave it a try. At most I would be able to try it once and be done with it. That is basically why I am making the post, so you can get $40 off your first box. I will admit, I get some credits if you buy using my voucher code, but I have been still getting the weekly boxes regardless of the credits or not. If you are like me and just want to figure it all out yourself, I will save you the read and give you the code now to use.

When you sign up on their website you get to choose what menu for what week you want which was a huge deal to me. Nobody wants to sign up and then just start getting meals that either don’t fit your family or they are just not something you want. We are a meat eating fairly large portion family and I didn’t want to be getting Vegan options. You get to pick as well if you do want Vegan/Vegetarian/Classic menus as well. You schedule a day that it is delivered and it arrives in a cold/insulated box.
One of the other cool things with this delivery is that they only send you what you need, which can sometimes be the determination of whether you are going to do a recipe to begin with. I mean, nobody wants to spend serious money for saffron when it calls for like 2 tendrils of it? HelloFresh only gives you what you need for the recipe and puts it all together on one box so you know what goes with what. You get recipe cards for each box, and the other cool thing is if you look through the website and don’t want to try it, you can still download the recipe card for free.
We REALLY like the Parmesan Chicken meal and I ended up making a couple times again on my own.
Like I said before, you can try it once and if you want to cancel it is super easy. They are a no frills company and dealing with other subscription type companies, that does not come easy sometimes.

What are some other meal deliveries that you really liked that worked for your families?
