LaBella Flora Children’s Boutique Clothing Review
I was given the opportunity to review a product from LaBella Flora Children’s Boutique that I would not normally review. Super girly clothing for little girls. Don’t get me wrong, my daughter LOVES to wear dresses. Like every single day she wears a dress. But they are cheap and she gets them dirty every day. She is my dirtball princess. When I see all of those gorgeous dresses in stores, I know she would destroy them or she would not wear them.
When I was contacted by LaBella Flora Children’s Boutique to review their new fall releases, I was hesitant just because I knew these gorgeous dresses would not be treated with that much care by the little “sass”quatch. Then I realized that she had picture day coming up and thought it would be a good way to test out the quality of the product. She would be able to see how they hold up to a day at school.
Their website was pretty easy to navigate and I ended up choosing this gorgeous floral lace dress by Haute Baby Clothing mainly because it was not super ruffly but I really like the lace detail on the sleeves and hem. And I really thought the red tassles were my favorite part to be honest.
The item came in a timely manner and it was wrapped up very nicely with a nice handwritten card. My daughter was very excited to open it up because her birthday is coming up soon and she thought it was a present. Now, she has this weird instinct in her where any time I put a bit of money into an outfit for a holiday or get together she does not like it and does not want to wear it. She would rather wear her cheap $5 daily dresses. This dress she seemed really excited to actually put it on for picture day. She really liked the ribbon that was tied in the back. Her teachers said she was a proud girl for pictures. It seemed to hold up throughout the day at school as well. Make sure to review the size chart as I got a 5 and it seems to fit perfect but she is only 4 and average to her age.
Now it does call for the dress to be hand washed and hung to dry in a shady area. I only have one kid and 2 dogs, but I certainly have no time to hand wash a dress every time she wears it. My washer has a hand washing setting, so I thought I would give it a try. It came out just fine, with no tears or rips.
The sizing is something to pay attention to. My daughter is venturing into the area where she can wear toddler sizes and girl sizes. The size chart told me the get a 5, and she is just turning 4 and it fits just perfect. So don’t always correlate the size to the age of your child.
All around, I think for special occasions, I think these are pretty darn cute dresses. The price point is pretty high for a dress that would only be worn once or twice, so I would plan to wear it for the first time to the special occasion and then let my monster wear it whenever she wants to get the most out of it. But this is also coming from somebody who buys $5 daily dresses.
I did receive this dress to review, but was not compensated for my post. All views and opinions are my own.
